Garage Addition Minor Variance
The Homeowner at this 1960s bungalow wanted to convert an existing carport into an attached single care garage with new rear entrance mudroom. Through design exploration it was determined that a new enclosed garage would need to be built wider than the existing carport in order to accommodate a vehicle and general storage. Building wider meant the addition would encroach on the side yard setback. The project went before Committee of Adjustments and the minor variance was ultimately approved. Next step is to proceed with building permit and construction.
